>I was not aware I ever beat my wife! As a matter of fact that is the most absurd and offensive comment anyone has ever given me. I do not appreciate it in the slightest. You may think it is brilliant but I do not. What is wrong with you? What is YOUR problem?

You can take it personal if you want. But I think you are reaching deep to do so. After lurking in the thread from top to bottom, I saw a completely different meaning in Nancy's post. I've seen this line used countless times when someone was making a point about how we can phrase questions such as to give the respondent no way of answering. Nancy was not asking you the question. She was making a point about your assertions. I for one, given the two current possibilities of having VFP7 with hot fixes and not having it, will take the first. You choose the latter. That’s fine for both of us because we both make the rules when it comes to when and what software we will support with our dollars.

On a personal note.
I have not had the opportunity of meeting you at conferences I've been able to go too. I hope that we do get to meet, because your post indicate that you have a lot of passion about your work and the tools you use. I have had the pleasure of meeting Nancy at some conferences and can tell you that she goes out of her way make people feel welcome to join in conversation and activities. She’s a big girl, and does not need me are anyone else defending her, but I just wanted to let you know that I read the post completely different and felt you had missed the point.

Jeff
