>Why don't you simply set controlsource to ccode. IOW what's controlsource ? A combo in a grid can't be w/o controlsource unless in a container.

ControlSource for this combo is BldMstr.town. It's set in a property sheet. Basically I may leave the other control in a grid, right? I just decided to remove it, since it's either text or combo. Do you think, it does matter, what I remove the other control in run-time? Do you think, DynamicCurrentControl would be better to use in my situation?

Yes, I'm using private DS too. None of the cursors are open, when I close the form, but I can not modify the class AddrInGrid. I have three grid classes, where each standard control is substituted with AddrInGrid control. I didn't have this problem before until I added cboTown in my classlib. Now I'm getting a "Class is in use" error message after I close it. What happened?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
