>>Well, if you have any kind of a O-Line at all, you have a second string QB that can get the job done if needed. He won't be much of a running threat, Yards measured in min's not sec's, but he knows how to get the job done reading D's and throwing. I can't believe we let him go with the current load of no talent bums and/or no experience yahoos that we have on the roster. Things are looking good for a high draft pick in the next draft.

>Yeah, Buerline < sp > is pretty good, but I'm hoping Griese can stay healthy. He's going to be a great one, if he can keep from getting banged up. Let the games begin!
Hold the phone there, chief. We still have lots of baseball left. And, for us Cub fans, it's the most exquisite of torture. Brett Hobbs and I have been swapping privates almost daily discussing the Cubs.
Right now, I get the feeling that
most Cub fans are waiting for "the other shoe to drop". IOW, "OK, when are they gonna blow it." As of now, "So far, so good." (Of course, there's the joke about the guy who jumped off the Empire State build and could be heard using that phrase as he past each floor< s >).
