http://webdocs.numaq.ibm.com/docs/sna3aa02/app_c.htm#AP99396 on the IBM web site describes a batch option for the PCFTP program from IBM. In the past (fairly dim past....) there were ways to script file transfers by manipulating the 3270 emulation software, either software that came with 3270 emulator card, or standalone 3270 emulation software that was being used on the PC workstation.

Don't know if this could happen via VFP directly, although you can call an external batch file or program using RUN. However, there are or used to be Visual Basic ActiveX controls that could conceivably be integrated with VFP.
