There's the free adobe acrobat reader that anyone can distribute royalty free. Then there's the acrobat writer that has a bunch of tools for creating pdfs: specifically the pdf writer and the pdf distiller. You can actually automate the creation of PDFs through VFP and the PDF writer. Another cool thing, have users upload to a central web server in any format and use PDFmaker Word macro (also included with full acrobat) to convert automatically to PDF to have a consistent format for others to use.
