VB.net will no longer need msvbvmxx.dll, but the .net runtime. It will be a 17 to 20MB file that supports all .net apps (both windows based and web based).
I think that you'd better rewrite your code in VB.net for there are so many changes between VB 6 and VB.net. Even the VB.net upgrade wizard can't help you out with all the problems. Nevertheless, VB 6 code could hardly take the advantage of .net framework, so...
