How many data get to view from the server in most cases? What kind of filter you set in the view?

> I using the SQL Server 7.0 , I create the remote view at the VFP. At the remote view , I setting the filter to requery() it. But the requery() time is very long time. It make the program preforman is very bad. Some people can told me that how to speedup the remote view requery time , make it as same as the local table speed ?
