>>WE are currently running a Bluezone mainframe. Right now the user goes into the mainframe and downloads files from the mainframe to their hard drive. Does anyone know of a way I can use vfp 6.0 to automatically perform this action; connect to the mainframe, download the files and disconnect from the mainframe?

Hi Tom,
RUMBA, like Eicon Aviva, IBM Personal Communications etc is a 3270/5250 emulator, not screen scrubber. Screen scrubbing or scraping is what you would do if you write code to access the emulation screen through hllapi.dll/whllapi.dll or ehllapi.dll, depending on which emulation sofware you use. These dll's expose the emulator interface, and allow you to send inputs directly into the mainframe. It also allows you 'scrape' text off the screen through function calls.
