I'd like to use foxmapi to send email in FPW26 but am having some problems.
Following the advice in KB article Q152279 (How To Send Mail Using MPSendMail() of FOXMAPI.FLL) I run into problems almost immediately.

1. tracing the sample code, when I Set Library To Foxmapi.fll, my subsequent Set("Library") command returns FOXMAPI.FXP and not FOXMAPI.FLL.

2. setting the library does actually create a FOXMAPI.FXP, but also a FOXMAPI.ERR with a load of errors, eg:

Error in line 1: Unrecognized command verb.

Error in line 2: Unrecognized command verb.


Error in line 3: Unrecognized command verb.

3. trying to access one of FOXMAPI's functions, namely MPLogon, creates this error:
File 'MPLOGON.PRG' does not exist.

If anyone can help I would be most grateful. Alternatively, if anyone knows how I can access MAPI.DLL directly to do it (send email in the background without user intervention) then that would do equally.
I don't want to use BLAT for various reasons.
