Hi !

I would like to connect to a Windows 2000 Terminal Server using a Windows 2000 professionnal workstation and still have acces to my local COMM ports. For the moment, I use the Shared modem service. I share my port on the workstation and I connect to it from my terminal server with NETMODEM USE COMn ... command and it works well ! The problem is when I try to work with that COMM port in an application, I get an error that says Invalid port number !

Is the port only available for a modem ??
Is there any other ways to access local COMM ports when running an application trough a terminal server ?

Thanks in advance...
