It is a service that has been around Wash. DC for a while. It seems that last time I looked the price had gone up to $70USD a month from $30USD a few years ago. Ricochet uses radio waves and like cell phones needs the towers for transmitters, which the county I live in was resisting. Now it just doesn't seem worth the cost based on the speed and then you have to use them as your ISP. Probably more info than you wanted. 8-)
