I've installed NT 4.0 on my home system which was previously running Win95 without much of a hitch. In fact, if you have 95 installed you can only install NT as a dual boot. To install NT alone you have to start from DOS or Win3.11/Win3.1, as I understand it. The only difficulty I've had is some sound driver problems. The installation was hands-off for the most part.
