Guys,
Thanks a lot for the quick help. I hope I can work this thing out. I don't have VFP 7.0 yet but ya'll may be able to answer a couple of questions for me. If I am on a network with machine A running win2000 and machine B running win98 and I want to use the dot matrix printer on machine A from machine B to print custom paper sizes how would I go about it? In VFP 6 machine B does not seem to know that machine A is using a completely different mechanism for setting the form size. In other words, if I have the paper size set to my custom size form on A and attempt to print the form from B to A I get the 'detail band too large to fit on page' error. Would taking the code our to the EXPR,Tag, and Tag2 fields make this work? Does VFP7.0 give us better tools for handling this type of thing? I admit I am somewhat confused by Win2000 printing (it shouldn't be this hard). Second question - What would I need to do to determine that a particular printer is actually located on a Win2000 machine?

Again, thanks.
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
