I've always used the filter tab from the view designer to include a view parameter using a syntax like this:

MyTable.MyField = ?vp_MyField

However, there is a 'View parameter…' option into the 'View' menu when you are using the View Designer.

I’ve tried to add view parameters through this “View parameters” dialog box without success. When I USE the view, it opens without prompting and it does not seem to accept the “?” character.

Any hints about the use of this feature will be appreciated.
