>Post this to UT wishes, but I doubt it will be implemented ate the UT - it is not so easy. Too much effort for nothing. Need to be sure first that MS will appreciate such effort and agree to communicate more with VFP community here. Yet from the Sergey's pessimistic posts I see that this is just a buzzing around ;((

I agree that it is a lot of work, but I'm not so sure that it would be "for nothing".
After all, I bet that when Michel started talking about his idea for the UT a lot of people said things like "we already have what we need" and "who needs something like that" and "it'll take too much bandwidth" etc. etc.
Yet look where UT is today! I think it is reasonable to say that it has changed the world for the VFP community. Unless Michel pressed on and actually did it, who would have known???
The same might be the result with a good WISH discussion/enhancement/voting facility within UT. It just might change the way users communicate with MS and how MS communicates with us.

>Who knows what can get MS to communicate more... VFP is excellent programming tool, that, I think, is not improved as good as required for such tool compare to other MS products. There are still such great holes in VFP that make writing wishes quite frustrating after so much SP and version releases without fixes.

Well when I look at the VFP7 wish list I know that *I* have a lot of trouble understanding what is being asked-for and why. And there certainly is no way to guage in any way how widely applicable even a clear wish is.
In current circumstances, if I was MS, I just might keep quiet too! It is too bad, though, that MS has not suggested guidelines for the content of wishes. That could have helped. Even now we are guessing at what might be useful!
But I would bet that, given clear, concise wishes with an indication of its popularity through the community, things would have a good chance of changing.
We will only know if we try. And it looks like we can only try if some UT enhancements are made to support this.

Cheers,
JimN
