>In MS's Programmer's Guide it implies that in a distributed application the "COMPILE" command will return the error "Feature not available". However, in my 32 bit exe it does work! Question: is this an undocumented feature that I should be aware of in future bug fixes from MS, and/or what about different PC operating environments?

This feature was recently added in a VFP SP; I think it was SP3.
