This makes for one nasty looking and nasty to use (clicking on one sometimes selects the other because they're so close). Even the fonts are a different size in "Normal" versus "Preview"!

Jim;

As a developer I like to have control over what I am doing - well - as much as possible. I am told that the latest version of FrontPage is great - but the people who say this to me are not developers - they are more like "appliance operators". A bit like the guys that use wizards in VFP and VB and call themselves developers. So for me front page is out of the question - I want control down to the pixel.

I remember when Front Page would blow up ASP code and re write itself creating a pile of junk text. Many people I knew who were developers complained about this all the time.

The first fun project I did was a web page for my self - and used "Hot Dog". It had a 30 day free trial and my daughter opened it up against my orders. The last day I was "authorized to use it" I had only 1 1/2 hours to play with it. I had lots of fun and decided to learn HTML, etc. Then I re-did my web page with HTML and learned a lot. Next I tied ASP into my web development and three years later I am working full time doing this kind of thing. The good news is that I am paid to do it. Having fun can go so far - have to keep the kids in college and all that. So you see I am not a advocate of Front Page or anything that even remotely resembles a "wiazrd"! Such a nasty word in my book!
