All available VFP functions that can be called from a DLL (which would be an FLL), begin with an underscore ("_"); these are called VFP "API functions" (and are in the Help under API).

You still need VFP; ie. your VFP app runs, loads an FLL and calls an FLL function that now does VFP API calls, and/or Windows API calls, or ...
