I just installed the Visual Studio SP5 (my OS is Windows 2000 SP2) and got a message: 'Could not open C:\WINNT\System32\MSVCP60.DLL, it is in use by another application'. I tried the 'retry' button a couple of times and then chose 'ignore' rather than 'abort' and the installation proceeded and concluded normally.

Does anyone know the function of the MSVCP60.DLL and if there is cause for concern?
