What i do is bring up a month picker ActiveX control whenever the user needs to enter a valid month, and upon selection, display it in a textbox. The Activex control can be sized, sometimes even to the full size of the screen. I use ctMonth from DBI Technologies, wich is not bad and has many possibilities ( i.e display of holidays and/or special projects with different colors ).
