I'm sure it's unintentional, but you're not making it very easy to try and help. We can't see your code or form, and so we rely on you to give us information. Without it, it's pretty much impossible unless someone guesses, and I'm not into guessing, I'm afraid. This is like pulling teeth. (Long and painful *s*.)

To diagnose it on your own, I suggest you make a copy of the combo (and form), and make the combo very simple, then keep adding in functionality until you either get a good combo or see what part is causing the trouble.

Although I really thought at one time that if your data has a value not in the list, it would show it in the list when dropped down, but as I posted earlier, I don't see that behavior in 6.0 or 7.0.
