I think that was it, Nancy... I found code that I was using that first set the active page of the frame and then set the focus. I switched lines of code and now it works! The first control was disabled unless a form condition was met and since I was activating the page then setting focus I think control never made it to the original set focus. Strange though; I would have thought that explicitly stating the focus in the page activate would have been enough.
