Friends:

I am using Outlook with Exchange Server 5.5.

I am trying to get access to an attachment file so I can import the attached data in to a VFP table.

In my "Inbox", I have a number of different messages from the same sender each with an attachment called Agents.txt - a standard issue update text file. The messages are issued on different days/dates.

When I use the Item.Attachments.PathName, I get the empty string (""), and Item.Attachments.FileName returns "Agents.txt" (as does Item.Attachments.DisplyName).

If I search for Agents.txt on the system, the files do not appear to exist although they are available if I open them manually from within Outlook.

I want to read/access the attachment. How do I do it - what am I doing wrong? I can get the file name but I am not sure how to get to the file contents? Is the file attached as a binary or similar?

Any help/advice very much appreciated.
-=Gary
