You have to compile it using VFP 6 but it should compile. The only intrinsic incompatibility I know of is the menu file format. If you open a menu file under VFP 7, a dialog asking whether you want to convert it will be displayed. If you select No, you can't open it. If you select Yes, you can't open it in VFP 6.

The same is true of the DBC if you have DBC events turned on. However, this isn't very bad because you can turn DBC events off and the change to the DBC is reversed (not so for the menu).
