>>I have noticed an emphasis on the Object nature of VFP being presented in this group. I was wondering if any of you could give a general overview of the relation between objects and tables (i.e. when should table data be transfered to objects, should tables with small numbers of records be dumped to an object array for manipulation, should you use objects instead of tables whenever possible, and what are the criteria for being possible). I have some familiarity with object concepts, having developed in HyperCard, VBA - Excel, Pascal, and now VFP, but I have a feeling I am simply applying procedural techniques to a different naming convention. Since VFP's object orientation seem to be its strength I would like to fully utilize this feature. Any general tips on applying this technology would be greatly appreciated.
