Parameterised views have accepted date parameters since VFP3.
How were you creating the view? If you use parameterised queries
CREATE SQL VIEW mydateview AS ;
SELECT * from mydatabase!mytable where dMyDate >= ?ldDateParameter
ldDateParameter=DATE()
USE mydatabase!mydateview
It worked fine.
