Rather than doing an inadequate install, construct a proper setup using either the Setup Wizard, VSI (downloadable from msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro) or another installation tool. Copying files is not an adequate install. It sounds like you've installed another unmentioned file containign an ActiveX control that VFP expects to use - you may need to load up FOXRUN.PIF or properly install the supporting files for the ActiveX control. FOXRUN.PIF can be downloaded from the Files Section here on UT.
