Though, you can prevent some messages from appearing, some others will show in your status bar. This is definitely a huge pita. After I've tried everything, I've turned the graphical status bar of, used the text status bar (SET STATUS ON), use a desktopform (with alwaysonbottom=.t.) and _VFP.Statusbar to read the messages and display them in a activeX statusbar. This process is not trivial and not the most easy way. But in the end I manages to get it to work.
