Backing up index (CDX) files seems pretty pointless to me, since (in theory) I can reconstruct indices from the tables. However, if I don't have the indices, I get error messages when accessing the tables. Anyone has experience with this?
I am afraid that when I copy a different version of the CDX-files (with the idea of REINDEXing), I might get error messages too, if the structure changed in the meantime.
