Hi!

No. VCX is just a pure VFP DBF file and I guess it is opened as a file in exclusive mode for duration of the library usage. USE command do not works for it also until you free VCX. This does not prove or mean that it is loaded completely into memory.

For example, if I instantiate an object and then try to access the VCX, I am locked out...this implies that FoxPro is "using" the VCX table as a table and not copying all the data somewhere else.
