You can build your own views for use. The project that I'm working on also has views that are far too complex for the designer. In the .BeforeOpenTables method, you can issue the CREATE SQL VIEW command or do as I do and have those commands embedded in a class somewhere. They work just fine. Yes, you do have to write the view structure instead of using a designer but you'd have to spend the time in the designer too.
