And that is correct? They should be identical?

Actually hadn't had my coffee before so that was just the basics. You do need the grouping fields, though.

As for the rest, would be easiest if you post a small example of the raw data (a few records, enough to show the issue) and the result you would expect. Then we can work from there. At least that's how I'd approach it, but I'm a SQL grunt, not guru.
