Hi!

Identity field on SQL server do not allow to change it. You require to insert records without identity field, identity values are auto-generated on the auto-increment basis. There is an option in SQL Serevr that allows to insert new record with specifying value for auto-increment field, that is why you get such error message.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
