Do you mean you're expecting that changes made to data are restore? I assume not, but thought I'd ask given the way the question is phrased.

It would help us diagnose this if you'd tell us exactly what's happening when the Private DataSession is closed that's causing concern. It might be that a form's Activate does something to requery the data, but it's impossible to tell.
