Thank you for your response. The 2nd grid is being used to display the results of a search. Unsure whether its a good idea to have one grid for displaying all the records in a table or if I should continue to use a second grid that becomes visible or otherwise depending on whether the Find button is clicked.

To answer your question, yes, I want to delete both field in the row that the user has clicked, and thenproceeds to click the Delete button. I will try out your suggestion. In summary, yes - the record to be deleted is the row in which the user has clicked.
