>My guess is that your memory manager (I assume emm386) is running into memory that is already in use by something else, like a video or some other driver. If you run "mem /d /p" you should be able to see what is in memory and look to see if you have 64k available for a page frame. You can either get an memory manager like QEMM or try different settings for you page frame in you emm386 statement in config.sys. You can also try the NOEMS setting.
