>My Cisco 675 router took several Code Red hits. I could get it back for 5 or ten minutes before another scan would block it up. So, I logged into it with telnet and after getting pass the exec level and into the enable level I issued a "set web remote 10.0.0.1 enabled" command followed by 'write' and then 'quit"

Right. Powering back up didn't help. And the second time I tried it, it was toast. By then reprogramming it via hyperterminal wasn't effective. Who knows? Might have been a coincidental device failure to the worm attack. IAC it was a surprise to me that the routers were vulnerable and thought some other people might be interested.

I surely do wish they'd bothered to email clients that there was a software patch.
