HELP! Logical Fields
There is a 3rd party program (dont know what language it's written in) that uses various tables. I have to access and write back to this table
after user mod's. Lets take one for instance: cashiers. Within this table is
a Logical field named ACTIVE (L,1), but get this: it stores a 'Y' or 'N'.
I'm using VB and VFP.When accessing the table, if the value stored in the
field is 'Y', then it shows 'True' in the app that I'm writing. That's not
the problem. Within my program, if using a checkbox and I overwrite the
value from 'Y' to True (now there is a T in the field browsing with VFP),
the 3rd party app wont read it. I've tried the following ODBC drivers, Msoft
VFP, dbase 3,4,5 and cant come up with a solution.
I dont know which language was used to create the table but the end result is that I have to get a 'Y' or 'N' back in the table.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
