You'll get a bigger bang by doing it to the C drive, which is probably where temp files are going.

It's been pulled from the Microsoft site, by I found it at www.shareware.com. It scans the registry and removes keys that don't point to anything. This frequently happens when uninstallers simply delete files and don't remove registry settings.

Right-click on MyComputer. Select Properties, then the Perfomance tab. Finally click on Virtual Memory.
