Easy to reproduce :)
Create a toplevel form
Put a grid + few textboxes (experiment what happens if grid is first control or not)
Put at least one shape that touches grid or behind grid or in front of grid (color it and if you want set backstyle to transparent)
Run form and enjoy ( autocoloring on grid, textboxes and headers :)
