Just for the heck of it I removed the Page2.Grid.SetFocus call and it works fine. Seems like there's a pretty fine line to walk when working with SetFocus, Refresh, ActivePage and Activate... I'm always spending an inordinate amount of time tracking down these types of issues rather than developing it seems...

I can't explain in formal way :) I never trust setfocus or refresh in a pageframe before making the page active (and mostly do just activepage = number instead of refresh as sounds it does an implicit reliable refresh). Probably part of performance reasons with pageframes.
