I have a form that I've put a combo box on that has the record source set to "alias" so that when the user selects a value from the combox box the record pointer in the table will move too. I'm having two problems with this:

1st when I move the record pointer programmaticly the value in the combo box will not refresh (I've tried thisform.refreash & combobox.refeash) untill I bind the value property to the table.field then issue the refreash. then it works but, then the user can not enter a new value in the box (as soon as the first letter is typed the value reverts back to the table.field value. Ahhhhhhh!!!!

2nd when the form is first loaded the combo box is blank and not the value of the table.field that the record pointer is pointing to.


This is driving me NUTS!!!
