Yes, you can. We did it once in VFP6 for a VFP application that we wrote to install MSDE on a client computer. We didn't want to have the client "install our VFP installer"

To do it, you will need to make sure all the VFP runtime files are in the CD. You may need to set a couple of things in the CONFIG.FPW as Mark mentioned. Also, you need to ensure that your TEMP directories point to the hard disk and not to the CD. Of course, if you need to update tables they need to be on the hard disk as well.
