thanks for getting back me, I've been doing that also, but I read in a recent Fox Advisor that there is some kind of new and improved command for getting an updateable view from sqlexec(), so far i've not yet found it or maybe i miss understood something... painfully i can't find the advisor that had the information in it...

any ideas on the new/improved sqlexec() commands ??
