It depends on what date you want. George Tasker wrote a utility available in the Download section File#

http://www.levelextreme.com/wconnect/wc.dll?FournierTransformation~2,54,Forum=5,28,1260) that gives you the ability to manipulate creation, last update and last access dates. FDate() and ADir() only give you the last update date.
