Hmmm... Klunky and kludgy aren't quite the same, but I guess my solution was both. :) I'm not sure how to define "klunky"... It's one of those words that I use, but it's hard to say what it means. I was using it in the sense that the solution was a lot of work. Kludgy is more like something that is thrown together that works, but isn't very elegant. So both terms work, but for different reasons. :)

Anyway, I've used this idea when doing a search and replace in code, but never tried it programatically.
