ISP here is just to provide connection to the Internet. So problems here might be only with connection. There is definitely a way to connect Windows server with Unix server. Than install IIS at the WIndows server and it will go despite connection from ISP is on Unix server. ASP runs on Windows machine, here I agree. But there are also Apache versions that allow run something similar to ASP at the Unix server.


Vlad, it's a play on words. The term ISP has more and more been used for Web Hosts too. But I agree an Internet Service Provider, is the one who gives you access to the Internet (such as Dial-up), not the hosting.

Kevin. There are many places you can look. I would suggest a place like www.findmyhost.com to start from. There are other sites like that (one called tophosts or something). Go surf and compare, what the different hosts offers and what they charge.
