Bureaucrats running amuck, eh? We don't have that problem here. Public workers are very sensitive to citizens concerns. One reason is the legislature is unicameral. Another is that many executive positions are filled at the voters pleasure. Play Ghingus Kahn too long and you will be looking for a new job. This pretty much helps control the lower level permenant bureaucrats, like me, because 'stuff' rolls down hill. :)
