Exactly, Doug, which is why I never give to the 'Chad' drive here at work, where everyone is required to submit a gift envelope. That's not charity to me, they have become another mandated mouth at the trough, albeit mandated by the employer. What really irks me is tht some of these 'charitable' organizations spend their gifts promoting their own poltical views. The campaign against the BSA comes to mind.
