Title:
Recompiling SBT 5.0 Pro
I know there are a lot of SBT gurus out there. Thankfully I am not one of them. However, we have Pro 5.0 running on our system for our internal accounting. I also do some minor development using VFP6.0 for an app I wrote for handling water and wastewater compliance tracking and reporting. I would like to recompile SBT under VFP 6.0 and get rid of 5.0 from our system. Is there any reason that this would be a problem? I see in the tech ref that SBT uses menugenx to preprocess the menus and will address that. What I'm not sure about is how they package the executable. According to the tech ref: "SBTW.EXE is the executable into which the Visual Foxpro runtime is bound; it contains only one line of application code, DO SBT." What exactly does this mean? Which runtime are they referencing and how is it bound to the EXE? Are there any other issues I should know about before recompiling?
Thanks,
Steve Watford
